Some of my favorite times with my buddies over the last couple years have been going to live sports events together. Now that we're all spending more time at home, we wanted to keep the fun times going. I recently learned that although most sports are canceled, horse racing is not! I've gone to a couple races in the past, and it's crazy into it you get even if it's your first time hearing about the horse favored to win that year (gooo Justify!)
Luckily, there's an app just for horse races: FanDuel Racing. Yes, from the same people who run FanDuel Daily Fantasy & Sportsbook. This app is super easy to use and lets you place bets right from your phone.
Any questions? We got you.
What is FanDuel Racing?
FanDuel Racing lets you place bets through their app or online, although it's easier from the app. There are races happening every 5 minutes, so you'll never be bored! You can also watch the live races right on the app.
How Do I Sign Up?
Download through the app store, Apple or Android. Then, enter some basic info to create an account. Heads up, they ask you for your SSN in order to make sure that all the bets are fair (people affiliated with the races aren't allowed to bet). You can make a deposit using your debit or credit card, AHC, or PayPal.
How Do I Get My Money?
It's super easy to cash out your winnings! Just link your bank account and you can instantly transfer your money. You can cash out right to your visa debit card, which is super convenient.
What Promotion Are They Offering?
Once you download the app and register your account, you're eligible for a $50 match on your first deposit! So, even if you "lose" your bet, they'll match it with $50 of credit. It's basically a win-win situation!
I've been using FanDuel Racing for the last couple of weeks, and it's honestly the best of both worlds - I get to bet on exciting races while I'm at home wearing sweats. My preppy pink pastel shorts can stay at the bottom of the drawer (where they belong). I've also won the most money out of all my friends so far so the bragging rights are mine!
